To log in to Spoon, enter spoon.netsoc.tcd.ie as the host. If you wish to connect to Matrix to upload to your webspace, input matrix.netsoc.tcd.ie as the host. Then enter your username and password in the boxes provided (your password will show up only as '*'s) and press enter. If this is the first time you have used WinSCP it may ask you to add the "host key to your cache". If so, just click "yes".

Once connected it will display a list of files and folders on the left and on the right. The files on the left are currently on the PC you are using (either a college PC, home PC or laptop). The default folder is My Documents. The files on the right are the files currently in your Netsoc userspace. To copy files from one location to another simply click the relavant file or folder and press the "Copy" button at the bottom of the screen. A dialog box will appear with options but you can just click the "Copy" button on it to copy the file/folder across.
