Socbot is an IRC bot in #netsoc that allows you to store and display factoids and run various useful commands.

How Do You Create Factoids?
Factoids are created in #netsoc. Type in!<trigger word(s)> is <factoid>
Socbot can handle spaces. The trigger word(s) must be seperated from the factoid by the word is. If an entry already exists for the trigger word(s), and the entry is acceptable, you can insert "also" after the word is. If you think that the entire entry should be replaced, insert no after the ! and before the trigger word(s).
When using this method, what you set is visible to everyone. If you want to see factoid without disturbing the rest of the channel, type in /msg socbot literal #netsoc factoid.
You can view all the current factoids using socbot_factoids.
How Do You Use It?
Type !<trigger word(s)>. The factoid for the given trigger word(s) will be displayed.
Other Features
Socbot can also do spell checks. For example:
<@brazil> !spell tset < socbot> Possible spellings for "tset": test, stet, Set, Tet, and set.
You can also find out the last time someone was active:
<@brazil> !seen nosmo < socbot> nosmo was last seen in #netsoc 1 day, 0 hours, 18 minutes, and 36 seconds ago saying: <nosmo> anyway
